The farmhouse is decorated in a minimalist style with maximum impact. Finishing touches such as bathrooms from Phillipe Starck, DVD home theatre, a Bose system on the terrace bring the farmhouse to the cutting edge.

Spacious and comfortable, guests can socialise in one of the many different indoor or outdoor communal areas such as the outdoor terrace, the pool area or the living room with a home theatre.

Efficient use of space and functionality are key for BioLINIA.  Using a marriage of  textures such as pre-finished plywood,  precast concrete parking blocks, concrete ceiling, steel cabinets, tile work while leaving space open and versatile.

The kitchen, the focal point of the apartment draws the eye to the perforated plywood ceiling that converges into upper vertical cabinets of the same material. Computer generated and CNC milled this elaborate organic latticework is inspired by radiating tree branches which are backlit as ambient lighting.  Bookshelves located below the kitchenâ€s island counter are moveable on casters exposing bar-style sitting area at the island .  The bookshelves also function as an office desk or sideboard.  Multifunctional modular furniture pieces were designed as a set of three to compliment the space.

The main living area houses a cube which contains hidden sliding doors, cabinets and a fold down bed.  Not unlike the Murphy bed though this one creates its own room by pulling out a panel.

A private master bedroom and bath is concealed from the main live-work space by a full-height sliding pocket door. The bedroom and bath area are separated by a perforated concrete masonry wall produced from geometrically- shaped parking blocks allowing light and ventilation to penetrate the bathing area. Radiant heating through a raised floor slab and adds substantial thermal comfort.  Custom concrete counter tops were constructed on site.  This takes DIY to a new level, only if you dare.  The end result being, something well though out and to be proud of.

“Mark Tracy started the design of this project with the intent to use the finest materials on every surface to create a friendly, inviting, colorful, and extravagant design for a penthouse unit in the Veer tower of Las Vegas†modern City Center development. This penthouse‘s primary features include a 13†tall by 13†wide floor-wall-ceiling glass mosaic in an ocean blue color scheme with embedded images and bordered by a glass veneer tile. In the middle of the centerpiece mosaic hangs a chandelier encased in a blue glass cube. A “Blue Louise” granite table floats off the kitchen island acting first as a bar elevation and then seamlessly dropping to a lower elevation where it serves as the units primary dining area.

The color palette of light greys blues and greens is accented by 120 linear feet of RGB LED lighting embedded around the perimeter of ceiling throughout the entire penthouse. The master bedroom shows off a 13†tall c-shaped bed of Italian porcelain tile complete with its own chandelier. Beside the bed hangs a custom chain curtain featuring Banksyâ€s signature tag which divides the bedroom from the master bath. The living and main party area is crowned with a one-of-a-kind mirrored ceiling made of triangular shaped mirrors each separated by ceiling beams reflecting the lighting effects of the unit and the neon shining through the windows from the Las Vegas strip outside.”

the new luxury does not mean immobility or habit, but rather freedom and movement. It is a light and stirring thought, at any moment we are able to choose where and how to live and to reinvent the environment we live in. As for architecture the new luxury is related to the idea of regaining the beauties and the truth of our daily life together with our inner feelings

Large spaces, bright lights, and a unique color scheme coupled with a one of a kind layout make for a Florence based family home thatâ€s nothing short of spectacular.

While Residence Micheli devotes itself to the traditional tenets of luxury living (e.g. freedom of movement and large beautiful spaces), the home evokes a special kind of playfulness that reflects the spirit of Micheli himself. Pink and lime green sprinkle the home in bursts of built in bookshelf color and the occasional painted wall. Most everything else, on the other hand, is white.

The plaster of the original walls were stripped off and pickled to form a contrast the smooth white walls, and the porcelain tiles on the floor create a white thatâ€s just as bright as the walls. All said and done, about 90% of the home is made of eco compatible materials. A big archway leads into the high ceilinged common relaxation space of the home while volumetric diagonal ceilings create a more intimate feel in the kitchen. A spiderweb textured rope is intertwined along the top of the vaulted public space right to the edge of the the staircase, finishing off the overall mood of the home as a sea of emotion combined with lightness.

Upstairs the bedrooms are suspended between dream and reality. In one of the bedrooms a blue backlit mirror flies over the bed, and the mattress almost flies on a carpet with a leather upholstered headboard. Soda bubbles rise from the bed on the opposite wall, and a yellow lacquered desk provides pop for the space.

When Simone Micheli envisioned Residence Micheli he wanted it to reflect our innermost spirit and essence. He achieved exactly that and created a beautiful place that his family can call home in the process.
