This fantastic live-in garage is the proof that passion can shape the spaces we live in. Designed for a young man whose Maserati was the object of his passion, this surprising garage/residence can be found in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Composed of layers of translucent and transparent separators, this residential space imagined by architect Brunete Fraccaroli is where the owner connects with his passion and surrounding nature. Spreading over 120 square meters, the modern garage is intended to link the owner and his car in the most visible way – the Maserati occupies an important space right in the living room. This versatile space includes the social area, a dining space, and office corner, a home theater and even a washing place. Meeting in-between dark walls and white ceilings, the carefully chosen furniture items compose an up-to-date design perfectly adapted for this special residential project.

Layers of texture, layers of style, layers of decades live happily in this (mostly) black and white living room. This is how it’s done (clapping and cheering in the background).

It’s like Ryan Korban and Kelly W had a love child. Or maybe Boyd is older than Ryan, which would be strange and impressive in terms of child rearing.

Committed to soft light and soft textures, this room speaks volumes about it’s location; I’d guess close to an ocean, or a vacation home. (My guess may have been influenced by the title of the project: “Hampton Townhome”.)

No worries here about Fornasetti and a large print on the wall dinging together, just do it and don’t look back. (whisper: it’s the very linera chandelier and blank white plates on the wall that stop things from getting outta-control-busy.)

Styling is delicious (literally) in this modern kitchen. And to all my peeps who fret about mixing metals, here’s proof that a drop of gold cures what could be a too-sleek kitchen. (And I am giddy with excitement about how the veggies are a perfect gradation from yellow to dark green in the already insanely beauiful wire bowl.)

Is that pottery barn Bettina print I spy? More proof that dramatic design doesn’t require dramatic dollars, although, it really helps. (side note: I’m totally on an ocean-navy-velvety  sofa kick these days. So rich.)

Everything he does reads extra complete (cherry on top-ish, don’t you think?) and he’s not too hard on the eyes himself…
